Job summary

Shape Next-Generation Semiconductor Technologies is seeking a senior engineer to lead evaluations and enablement for next-gen analog and mixed-signal devices. You will work with IC design, product engineering, and external foundries to define tech requirements and drive device solutions.

The role involves addressing reliability, process integration, and qualification for mature to advanced nodes, with international travel possible.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years in semiconductor technology development, process integration or technology transfer.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and characterization methodologies.
  • Experience with technology nodes from mature to advanced manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of reliability mechanisms (HCI, TDDB, SOA) and qualification methods.
  • Familiarity with analog and mixed-signal requirements: device matching, noise, power, multi-voltage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead semiconductor technology evaluations and enablement activities for future roadmaps.
  • Define technology requirements with IC design, product engineering, and commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with foundries on process development and device solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve reliability and performance challenges across mixed-signal products.
  • Provide process integration guidance to design and layout teams on manufacturability and DRCs.
  • Analyze device characterization data to support technology qualification and deployment.
  • Drive cross-functional technical projects in analog, mixed-signal, and power devices.

Job Description
  • Lead new semiconductor technology evaluations and enablement activities supporting future product roadmaps
  • Work closely with IC design, product engineering, and commercial stakeholders to define technology requirements
  • Collaborate with external foundry partners on process development, technology optimization, and custom device solutions
  • Investigate and resolve complex technology, reliability, and performance challenges across mixed-signal products
  • Provide specialist process integration guidance to design and layout teams on technology capabilities, manufacturability, and design rule compliance
  • Analyze device characterization and reliability data to support technology qualification and deployment
  • Drive cross-functional technical projects involving advanced analog, mixed-signal, low-power, and power device technologies
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience within semiconductor technology development, process integration, technology transfer, or advanced process engineering
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and characterization methodologies
  • Experience supporting technology nodes ranging from mature to advanced manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of semiconductor reliability mechanisms such as HCI, TDDB, SOA evaluation, and related qualification methods
  • Familiarity with analog and mixed-signal technology requirements, including device matching, noise performance, power management, and multi-voltage implementations
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to solve complex engineering challenges
  • Experience engaging multiple stakeholders across design, technology, manufacturing, and product teams
  • Able to manage multiple technical programs simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
  • Open to international travel as required
