Job summary

Adecco partners with a global leading Semiconductor Foundry to recruit a Technology Development Engineer. You will drive edge device development and optimization of RFSOI devices, perform TCAD simulations, and coordinate with PDK teams to enable design improvements.

Ideal candidates have solid semiconductor physics knowledge, experience with Cadence/Mentor/Synopsys, and a track record in device characterization and tape-out. Strong communication skills are essential for this role in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge in semiconductor device physics with deep understanding of device characteristics and tuning techniques.
• TCAD (process & device) simulation and calibration.
• Experience using industrial EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys) for layout, DRC and LVS checks.
• Experience with advanced RFSOI/BCD/Silicon Photonics/Advanced Packaging technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive edge process/device development and optimization of RFSOI devices to meet scaling, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
• Conduct device pcell design, test structure creation and tape-out.
• Perform extensive TCAD simulations to optimize device performance and ensure reliability.

This position is responsible for driving a leading edge process/device development and optimization of the devices in order to meet scaling, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

The Job:

• To be responsible for driving a leading edge process/device development and optimization of RFSOI devices in order to meet scaling, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.


• To conduct device pcell design, test structure creation and tape out.


• To perform extensive process and device TCAD simulation using various techniques to optimize device performance and ensuring reliability.


• To perform device characterization and analysis with the aid of DC-IV bench test


• To work with modeling & PDK team for design enablement, model validation and pcell improvement

The Talent:

• Solid knowledge in semiconductor device physics, especially: Deep understanding device characteristics and device tuning techniques.
