Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks candidates to develop advanced CMOS process integration and device technology from proof-of-concept to production.

You will collaborate across process module, device, reliability, product engineering and fab operations to meet electrical, reliability and customer specs, while implementing new processes, test structures, and transfer activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering.
• 1–2 years experience in Process Integration / Device Engineering.
• Knowledge of device physics and CMOS process integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop differentiated technology through milestones from proof-of-concept to ready-for-production.
• Meet electrical, mechanical, thermal and reliability requirements and customer specs.
• Integrate new processes during development, qualification and release phases.
• Work with process module, device, reliability, product engineering & fab operation teams.
• Define new process flow, test structures, ET and inline specs during development.
• Characterize and qualify integrated processes to meet release requirements.

Develop process flows and process recipes to enable meeting the product requirements for performance, reliability and defect free manufacturing Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:

• Responsible for developing process flows and process recipes to enable meeting the product requirements for performance, reliability and defect free manufacturing.
• Ensure methods and processes in place to test the devices and structures being developed
• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed
• Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions
• Responsible to freeze developed processes in preparation for manufacturing
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Introduction:

We are looking for candidates who are interested in technology development inadvanced CMOS and eNVM process integration and device areas.

Responsibilities

• To develop differentiated technology through various maturity milestones (from proof-of-concept to ready-for-production) by meeting the requirements for electrical, mechanical, thermal, reliability, and customer specifications and contribute to GLOBALFOUNDRIES' corporate objective to be the leader in providing solutions to customers.
• To integrate new processes throughout development, qualification, and technology release/transfer phases with emphasis on integration related matters to meet the technology release requirements
• To work with different teams (process module, device, reliability, product engineering & fab operation) to develop and qualify new technologies/processes
• To integrate new processes, design test structures, create new process flow (STF, ECN, etc), define new ET and inline specs, during technology development phase.
• To characterize and qualify the integrated processes to meet the technology release requirements
• Interact and coordinate with Product Engineering and Device Engineering teams to resolve yield and quality issues of the new processes during development
• To perform data analysis and problem solving for ET, yield, process and Reliability issues.

Qualifications & Experience s:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
• Min. 1-2 years experience in a Process Integration / Device Engineering.
• Knowledge of device physics and CMOS process integration.
