Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Process Integration Engineer in Singapore to develop differentiated CMOS and eNVM process technologies from concept to production. You will collaborate with multiple teams across process module, device, reliability and fab operations to qualify new technologies and ensure defect-free manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 1–2 years experience in a Process Integration / Device Engineering.
  • Knowledge of device physics and CMOS process integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop differentiated technology through various maturity milestones from proof-of-concept to ready-for-production, meeting electrical, mechanical, thermal, reliability and customer specs.
  • Integrate new processes throughout development, qualification, and technology release/transfer phases with emphasis on integration-related matters.
  • Collaborate with process module, device, reliability, product engineering & fab operation teams to develop and qualify new technologies/processes.
  • Define new test structures, create new process flow (STF, ECN, etc), define ET and inline specs during development phase.
  • Characterize and qualify integrated processes to meet technology release requirements.
  • Coordinate with Product Engineering and Device Engineering to resolve yield and quality issues during development.
  • Perform data analysis and problem solving for ET, yield, process and reliability issues.

Process Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing process flows and process recipes to enable meeting the product requirements for performance, reliability and defect free manufacturing.
  • Ensure methods and processes in place to test the devices and structures being developed
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed
  • Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions
  • Responsible to freeze developed processes in preparation for manufacturing
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
  • Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Introduction

We are looking for candidates who are interested in technology development in advanced CMOS and eNVM process integration and device areas.

Responsibilities
  • To develop differentiated technology through various maturity milestones (from proof-of-concept to ready-for-production) by meeting the requirements for electrical, mechanical, thermal, reliability, and customer specifications and contribute to GLOBALFOUNDRIES' corporate objective to be the leader in providing solutions to customers.
  • To integrate new processes throughout development, qualification, and technology release/transfer phases with emphasis on integration related matters to meet the technology release requirements
  • To work with different teams (process module, device, reliability, product engineering & fab operation) to develop and qualify new technologies/processes
  • To integrate new processes, design test structures, create new process flow (STF, ECN, etc), define new ET and inline specs, during technology development phase.
  • To characterize and qualify the integrated processes to meet the technology release requirements
  • Interact and coordinate with Product Engineering and Device Engineering teams to resolve yield and quality issues of the new processes during development
  • To perform data analysis and problem solving for ET, yield, process and Reliability issues.
Qualifications & Experiences

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent; Min. 1-2 years experience in a Process Integration / Device Engineering. Knowledge of device physics and CMOS process integration.
