Job summary

Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management PTE. LTD. is seeking a Building Maintenance Senior Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our buildings and estates.

You will report to the Site Head and perform hands-on repairs, safety checks, and preventive maintenance to keep facilities in optimal condition. The role requires a proactive team player with relevant experience in building maintenance, and a minimum NITEC in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of building, mechanical & electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people; strong team player.
• Minimum NITEC in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs across electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks; read technical diagrams.
• Conduct daily safety checks for electrical hazards and site safety with security personnel.
• Assist with preventive and ad-hoc maintenance to keep facilities in good condition.
• Monitor and record M&E readings and system performance.
• Supervise contractors and report irregularities to the site manager.

About The Role

As a Building Maintenance Senior Technician at Knight Frank business unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our buildings and estates. Reporting to the Site Head, you will perform a variety of technical tasks such as hands-on repairs, routine safety checks and preventive maintenance, to keep the facilities at optimal condition. We are seeking a proactive team player with relevant experience in building maintenance.

What You Will Be Doing

• Hands-On Repairs: Perform a variety of general building repairs, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and painting. Read and interpret technical diagrams, including electrical and plumbing drawings and site plans.
• Daily Safety Checks: Conduct routine checks for electrical safety hazards, water ponding, and collaborate with security personnel to maintain site safety.
• Preventive and Ad-Hoc Maintenance: Assist in executing both scheduled and on-demand maintenance tasks to keep facilities in optimal condition.
• Monitoring M&E Systems: Maintain accurate records of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) readings and monitor the performance of systems and equipment.
• Supervision of Contractors: Assist in overseeing maintenance and servicing work conducted by external contractors, reporting any irregularities or concerns to the site manager.
