Job summary

Henderson Security Services Pte Ltd is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician to work on-site at a residential property. You will report to the Site Head and keep the building and estate in good working order through repairs, safety checks and preventive maintenance.

The role requires hands-on building maintenance experience, ability to read M&E drawings, and a proactive team player mindset with willingness to respond to emergencies and shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of building M&E systems.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Willing to do shift work or respond to emergencies if needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general building repairs, including electrical, plumbing and painting work.
• Read electrical and plumbing drawings and site plans.
• Do routine safety checks for electrical hazards, water ponding and other safety issues.
• Work with security officers to keep the site safe.
• Help carry out scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Record M&E readings accurately and monitor system performance.
• Help oversee maintenance and servicing work by external contractors.

About the Role
Henderson is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician to work on site at a residential property managed by our client. You'll report to the Site Head and keep the building and estate in good working order through repairs, safety checks and preventive maintenance. We're looking for a proactive team player with hands-on building maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities

Repairs

• Carry out general building repairs, including electrical, plumbing and painting work.
• Read electrical and plumbing drawings and site plans.

Daily Safety Checks

• Do routine checks for electrical hazards, water ponding and other safety issues.
• Work with security officers to keep the site safe.

Preventive & Ad-Hoc Maintenance

• Help carry out scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.

M&E Systems

• Record Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) readings accurately.
• Monitor how systems and equipment are performing and report any problems.

Contractor Supervision

• Help oversee maintenance and servicing work by external contractors.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Site Manager.

Requirements
