Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a Senior Technician to support engineering and maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting in Singapore. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and drive efficiency improvements on critical machinery.

Responsibilities include PM programme development, tooling and spare-parts planning, and maintaining SOPs and risk assessments. A Diploma in Engineering and 4+ years’ relevant experience are preferred, with IL6S/Kaizen exposure a bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in engineering maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IL6S Progressive Maintenance is a plus.
• Lean, Kaizen or continuous improvement exposure is advantageous.
• Able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

• Diagnose machine faults and perform repairs.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical or related discipline).

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in engineering, maintenance or manufacturing.

• Hands‑on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Good problem‑solving and technical skills.

• Experience in IL6S Progressive Maintenance will be an advantage.

• Exposure to Lean, Kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives is an advantage.

• Able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
