Job summary

Corestaff Pte Ltd is seeking an Engineering Technician in Singapore to maintain mechanical equipment, production machinery, and utility systems. The role covers routine and preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and coordinating with contractors to ensure smooth operation.

The successful candidate will work with pumps, valves, bearings and other components, read mechanical drawings, and support installation activities while adhering to GMP and safety standards. Transport may be provided.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with mechanical equipment.
• Welding and pipe-fitting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical faults to identify root causes.
• Repair or replace components such as pumps, bearings, belts and valves.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance works.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment performance records.

Job Summary:

Join an established manufacturing company as an Engineering Technician responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment, production machinery, utility systems and factory facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment

• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical faults to identify root causes

• Repair or replace mechanical components such as pumps, valves, bearings, belts and related parts

• Support maintenance of production equipment, utility systems and facilities

• Operate mechanical maintenance tools and equipment safely

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams and technical manuals

• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment

• Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance works

• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair and equipment performance records

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and GMP procedures

• Maintain good housekeeping within the work area

Requirements:

• GCE, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration or equivalent

• Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial equipment servicing

• Familiarity with pumps, valves, bearings, belts, piping or production machinery

• Experience in pharmaceutical, food, petrochemical, wafer fabrication, semiconductor or manufacturing environments is advantageous

• Welding and pipe-fitting experience is preferred

• Willing to work rotating shifts where required
