Job summary

Atomionics seeks a technical procurement professional to sit between the BOM and reality, owning procurement from engineering requests through supplier selection, ordering and delivery. You will maintain key vendor lists and work with engineers to compare technically valid alternatives to minimize lead times.

You will keep critical engineering inventory ahead of expected builds and deployments, and you will automate purchasing, inventory and workflows where manual work no longer scales to

Qualifications

• Engineering or another relevant technical degree, or equivalent technical experience.
• Several years working at the interface of engineering, procurement or supply chain.
• Experience sourcing technical or industrial components and reasoning about specifications, equivalents and supplier trade-offs.
• Comfort building systems and processes instead of only operating an existing one.
• Strong self-direction and practical judgment when information is incomplete.

Responsibilities

• Own technical procurement from engineering request through supplier selection, ordering and delivery.
• Maintain the technical Approved Vendor List and build reliable supplier relationships for specialized components and equipment.
• Work with engineers to compare technically valid alternatives when parts, lead times or specifications change.
• Keep critical engineering inventory ahead of expected builds and deployments.
• Automate purchasing, inventory and operational workflows where manual work no longer scales.
• Support the readiness of specialized equipment and hardware for field deployments.
