Job summary

Amplify Health seeks an experienced technical leader to oversee the software development team, driving timely, high-quality product delivery. You will guide engineers and the product owner, set technical direction, and resolve complex issues while mentoring team members to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include shaping the product roadmap, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring robust collaboration across engineering, data science and tech ops.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience and at least three years in technical lead duties.
• Proficient in at least one of NodeJS, ReactJS, Java or Python.
• Proficient in Azure cloud, DevSecOps & Terraform.
• Proficient in at least one testing framework.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own development of the product build using the project’s core languages.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and guide the product owner on effort estimates.
• Attend stand-ups, sprint planning, retros and actively participate in projects.
• Plan for sprint planning to ensure the engineering team has clear tasks.
• Lead solution designs including complex edge-cases and technical decisions.
• Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and tech ops teams.
• Review pull requests and mentor engineers on the team.
