Job summary

FONDA GLOBAL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a maintenance supervisor/engineer to oversee GRC maintenance outcomes, attend management meetings, and drive corrective actions to meet KPIs in Singapore.

The role involves planning and coordinating work programmes, submitting programs and reports, ensuring resources and safety compliance, and managing POs and material requests for internal and subcontracted works.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building or Facilities with relevant experience.
• Experience in M&E/Building preventive and corrective maintenance or township management.

Job description

Responsible for meeting the overall maintenance outcome (i.e., contractual Key Performance Indicators) for the assigned GRC and taking corrective action to improve performance, if needed. Serve as the management-level point of contact and attend regular management meetings with MND representatives to resolve ground issues.

Job Description

• Assessing the work hazards, submitting risk assessments, mitigating measures and addressing all comments from the Authority
• Submitting method statements where necessary to the Authority for approval before the commencement of inspection works
• Planning, managing and co-ordinating all activities related to the work programmes
• Preparing and submitting all programmes, schedules (daily, monthly), monthly progress reports and defects summary reports to the Authority
• Ensuring that all resources, equipment, etc. are always in good working condition, and also ensuring timely and adequate coverage for Supervisors or Inspectors who may be unable to perform their roles at any point in time
• Ensuring that all inspection and maintenance works carried out are in accordance with the work requirements, approved method statement and risk management, and comply with any written law and statutory requirements in Singapore
• Obtaining all necessary clearances well in advance for the inspection and maintenance works before commencement of work
• Validating the necessity for lane/road closures and traffic control, traffic diversion plans and ensuring that they are always carried out diligently and in accordance with LTA’s Code of Practice for Traffic Control at Work Zone
• Being familiar with prevailing Workplace Health and Safety guidelines to guide supervisors/inspectors and the reporting protocol in an emergency or site safety concern situation during the inspection
• Preparing estimates and quotations for any works where necessary
• Manage team daily work and manage Purchase Orders and Material Requests for both in-house works and subcontractors' works.
• Manage and monitor infra feedback cases.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building/ Facilities or equivalent with 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in M&E/Building preventive and corrective maintenance or township management.
