Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E site coordinator to control site progress and ensure installation quality in line with shop drawings, technical submissions and procurement schedules. You will lead M&E drawing coordination, produce CSD and service drawings, and conduct QA/QC inspections to meet construction timelines.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of M&E trades, and excellent time management and communication skills

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical trades.
• Knowledge of local M&E codes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Control site progress and installation quality per approved drawings and schedules.
• Appraise works/products for compliance and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate M&E drawings and produce service drawings quality.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and manage RE/RTO to meet schedule.
• Maintain site inspection records and variation order cost tracking.
• Verify work and material status for progress payments.
• Instruct subcontractors on substantiation document preparation.
• Implement IMS-compliant site safety methods.
• Attend daily site coordination meetings with subcontractors.

About the role

Control site progress and installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions, and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule for on-time completion. Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality. Conduct QA/QC inspection, manage RE, RTO, and clear QA/QC inspections to meet construction schedule. Check, evaluate, and confirm work done and material supply quantity status for M&E sub-contractor/NSC vendors' progress payments.

Key responsibilities

• Control site progress and installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions, and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule

• Conduct appraisal for works/products compliance to Specifications/Requirements and provide selection recommendations

• Manage M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality

• Conduct QA/QC inspection, manage RE, RTO, and clear QA/QC inspections to meet construction schedule

• Provide and maintain all site inspection records and T&C records up to date

• Collect variation order costs, verify cost of VO works, and make recommendations for VO prices

• Check, evaluate, and confirm work done and material supply quantity status for progress payments

• Instruct sub-contractors and vendors on progress substantiation document preparation

• Implement site safety standards to comply with IMS safe work methods

• Attend daily site coordination meetings and provide detailed coordination with subcontractors

About you

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Good technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical trades

• Good knowledge of Local Code/Regulation pertaining to M&E services, building construction, and safety

• Time management skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Ability to manage particular tasks put in charge

• Good verbal and written communication skills
