United Overseas Bank is seeking a Technical Manager to drive the successful execution and delivery of large-scale banking projects within scope, timeline and budget. You will lead multi-vendor teams and collaborate with architects, vendors and business units to deliver secure, compliant solutions.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and a track record in delivering complex initiatives in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of regional project implementation for large-scale, multi-interface applications.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for successful execution and technical delivery of projects meeting scope, timeline and budget.
• Drive data, design and solution discussions with vendor, technology team and user groups.
• Lead multi-vendor teams to deliver solutions and manage vendor relationships.
• Provide status updates related to technical delivery to the Project Manager.
• Partner with Solution and Enterprise Architects to deliver technical innovations.
• Ensure design complies with enterprise principles, security and control standards.
• Work with Test Manager to formulate comprehensive system test plans.
• Identify and raise risks and issues, including financial or operational impacts.
• Manage relationships across business lines and with external parties to ensure timely delivery.
• Organise and chair governance meetings with materials and minutes.
