Senior Technical Business Analyst – ATM & Banking Interfaces

Job summary

Ampstek seeks an experienced Technical Business Analyst to lead analysis across ATM and self-service banking domains. You will model requirements, write BRDs and FRDs, and map complex banking interfaces with REST/JSON/XML integrations.

You will work in an Agile environment, perform SIT/UAT and defect management, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear specifications and successful implementations.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Systems Analyst / Business Analyst.
• ATM / Self-Service Banking domain experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of ATM transaction processing and banking interfaces.
• Experience with ATM Switch / Transaction Switch and integration with banking systems.
• Good understanding of Cards, Payments, Core Banking and ISO 8583.
• Experience with API/Web Services, REST, JSON/XML and system integrations.
• Strong SQL and database analysis skills.
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD, functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Swagger/Postman or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
