Job summary

APAR TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned IT Business Analyst with 9+ years in banking to translate complex business needs into functional requirements and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

You will coordinate between business and IT teams, design test strategies, and support UAT/SIT while ensuring regulatory compliance across locations. Strong SQL, UI/UX (Figma), and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of IT Business Analysis experience, preferably in banking.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and specifications.
• Experience coordinating between business and IT teams across projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Translate requirements into solutions with development teams.
• Prepare functional documents, use cases, test strategies and test cases.
• Plan and perform System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and report testing status.
• Identify test data required for testing and validation.
• Support project planning, schedules and milestones.
• Act as project manager for delegated tasks and coordinate project activities.
• Track and report project risks, issues and status to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions are properly tested before production deployment.
• Prepare and maintain application user and operating guides.
• Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents.
• Analyze large data volumes and investigate data anomalies or inconsistencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and reduce risks.
• Work with stakeholders across different locations.
• Follow applicable regulatory, compliance and internal policies.
