Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Tech Risk & Controls Lead in Singapore to mitigate technology risks and uphold operational excellence.

You will identify and mitigate risks, provide expert guidance to technology process owners, and ensure controls operate in line with regulatory and internal standards. You will partner with Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and Regulators to report the technology risk posture and its business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, information security, or related field.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirements.
• Experience as a technology risk practitioner within the Securities Services or broader financial services sector.
• Experience interacting with external client-facing roles and business teams.
• Proficient knowledge in data security, risk assessment & reporting, control evaluation, design and governance.
• Ability to influence executive-level strategic decisions using technology insights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective identification, quantification, communication, and management of technology risk, focusing on root cause analysis and resolution recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with LOB technologists, assessments teams, and data officers to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and progress toward shared goals.
• Execute reporting and governance of controls, policies, issue management, and measurements, providing senior management insights into control effectiveness and governance.
• Proactively monitor and evaluate control effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to strengthen risk posture and regulatory compliance.
