Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in technology and/or cybersecurity risk and control management with regulatory focus in financial services.
• Experience leading a team within a technology risk or regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge of APAC regulations (MAS, HKMA, NFRA, RBI, APRA, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior management, audit and regulators.
• Ability to navigate and collaborate in a large organization.
• Interest in using AI to support 1LOD risk and control management.
• Knowledge of industry risk frameworks (COBIT, UCF, CRI Profile).

Responsibilities

• Independently lead and manage APAC cybersecurity and technology regulatory engagement activities, including inspections and audits, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-traced regulatory responses.
• Identify, assess and manage cybersecurity and technology risks within the 1LOD framework, with prompt issue escalation and sustainable remediation.
• Partner with global 1LOD risk and control functions to conduct risk reviews and control assessments, ensuring APAC regulatory compliance.
• Continuously evaluate opportunities for efficiency and improvements to the 1LOD regulatory, risk and control framework.
• Prepare and deliver risk reports and governance materials for senior management forums and committees.
• Contribute to regulatory engagement transformation through innovation, including AI.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on APAC cybersecurity and technology regulations for senior management and global teams.
