Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a senior technical authority to guide 3D NAND advanced thin film development. You will set strategic direction, lead multi-functional initiatives, architect solutions, and mentor engineers to elevate technical excellence across global projects.

You will drive integration of unit processes into full module packages, influence standards, and push hardware/process capabilities while collaborating across teams. A PhD with 15–20 years in thin film R&D is expected.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 15 to 20 years of experience in Thin Film R&D for NAND process (plasma and thermal CVD for dielectric, highK/lowK, carbon-based deposits).
• Demonstrated leadership in multi-functional development and vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy and lead multi-functional projects in structural and electric film development.
• Architect solutions and promote innovative technologies across teams.
• Mentor engineers and foster technical growth.
