Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist (SMTS) to act as a technical authority in NAND Advanced Thin Films, defining strategy, architecting solutions, and leading cross-functional initiatives with department-wide impact.

The role drives innovation adoption, sets technical standards, leads advanced development and mentoring, and builds engineering capability through knowledge sharing while upholding Micron’s leadership expectations.

Qualifications

PhD with 12+ years or Master’s with 15+ years in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related field.
Extensive thin films R&D/PD experience.
Strong mentorship and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define technical strategy and lead multi-functional projects in structural and electrical film development.
Architect solutions and promote innovative technologies across teams; influence standards and drive process improvements.
Lead advanced process development, fixing, and integration; validate wafer-level interactions and device/process linkages.
Drive complex problem solving across process/structure/hardware/device interactions (RCA, FMEA, SPC, corrective actions).
Lead vendor engagements to push hardware/process capability; secure resources and set achievements.
