Job summary

Dyson is seeking a finance systems specialist to ensure OneStream readiness for month-end close and reporting. The role involves leading implementation, configuration, and integration with existing business systems to enable data-driven decision making.

You will train finance users, develop financial models and reports, and continuously optimize processes while staying aligned with industry best practices. A strong foundation in finance and IT is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with financial systems such as OneStream/Hyperion/EPM is a plus.
• Strong interest in financial systems and technology to drive performance.
• Experience with API and automation is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial processes and principles.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the financial systems are ready to support month-end close, consolidation, and reporting activities.
• Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and integration of the OneStream platform with existing business systems.
• Provide ongoing guidance, training, and support to finance users to maximize the effectiveness and utilization of OneStream.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance system solutions, financial models, and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Continuously monitor, optimize, and automate system processes while staying updated on industry best practices and driving ongoing improvements.

The following competencies are particularly relevant:

• Ability to translate finance and business requirements into system specifications, partner effectively across teams, and ensure business needs are met through technology.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement, change management, and technical solution delivery—leveraging data analysis, system administration, and attention to detail.
• Basic foundational knowledge of financial accounting and reporting is desirable , with an understanding of master data's role in complex organizations and a willingness to deepen finance expertise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• Prior experience with financial systems such as OneStream, Hyperion or EPM Could is a plus.
• Strong interest in financial systems and utilizing technology to drive performance and impacts.
• Prior experience with C#, VB.Net or SQL.
• Knowledge of system administration and setup is a plus.
• Experience with OneStream, S4 HANA or any financial system is a plus.
• Experience with API and automation is a plus
