Job summary

St Engineering seeks an experienced SAP FICO specialist to support Finance and related modules from a Finance perspective in Singapore. You will act as SME in SAP FICO, PS, CS, PP, SD, and MM and help ensure smooth operations across engineering and manufacturing processes.

The role involves providing daily functional support, training Finance staff, documenting end-to-end processes, and coordinating with IT and SAP consultants on enhancements and integrations, while ensuring internal controls

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting SAP FICO and related modules in a Finance or Finance Systems role.
• Strong knowledge of costing, cost control, and financial accounting entries related to Engineering Design and Development, Manufacturing and MRO processes.
• Familiarity with month-end closing activities and financial reporting in SAP.
• Demonstrated experience providing user support and training to Finance teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong documentation and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance process owners in designing and documenting end-to-end business processes with focus on Engineering Design and Development, Manufacturing and MRO operations and their accounting impacts in SAP.
• Assist in testing, data validation, and user acceptance for system changes and new functionalities.
• Prepare user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Finance.
• Coordinate with IT, SAP consultants, and other stakeholders for issue resolution, enhancements, and integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
