Job summary

Dyson is seeking a qualified QA Engineer to deploy advanced software and electronics testing solutions, focusing on automated verification and validation across robot behaviours and AI/ML-enabled features.

You will design and execute test cases for software security, performance, and compatibility, analyse results, and drive improvements. Strong Python automation and Agile experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing across hardware/software interfaces.
• Experience building automated test frameworks using Python.

Responsibilities

• Deploy advanced software and electronics testing solutions to enable efficient verification and validation of requirements.
• Develop and lead test strategies and plans, overseeing execution across robot behaviours and AI/ML features.
• Design and execute test cases for software security, compatibility, and performance to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyse test results, perform statistical analysis, and present clear test reports.
• Build and maintain software test environments supporting automated and manual testing.
• Develop automated test cases using Python.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies to support high‑quality software delivery.
• Identify test-related issues and design effective solutions to resolve them.
• Coordinate testing activities with JDM partners to meet project deliverables.
