AYUMU SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to lead authentic counter service in a Singapore restaurant. The role focuses on delivering high quality sushi, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining top hygiene standards with a heart for hospitality.

Ideal candidates possess Sushi chef background, training from a recognised culinary school, and a collaborative, humble approach to achieve excellence in dining experiences. Strong customer service ethos is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as authentic Sushi Chef by background.
• Some years working in counter of Authentic Sushi Restaurants in Japan.
• Qualified Cooking Education from Recognised Culinary School.
• Heart for hospitality and passion in profession.

Responsibilities

• Use technique and recipe to deliver high quality food.
• Execute sushi counter service as required, delight diners with warm service and food.
• Manage kitchen operation and assist in execution of cooked dishes per company requirements.
• Ensure freshness of produce received and served for the business at all times.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of food and kitchen operations to highest standards.
• Educate diners on source and background of seasonal ingredients to enhance dining experience.
• Assist with beverage pairing recommendations for diners.
• Deliver Japanese service style (Omotenashi).
• Assist with beverage pairing recommendations for diners (or all that).
