Job summary

Labcorp Singapore is seeking an Associate Principal Investigator / Senior Scientist to join our team. The role involves leading studies as Study Director/PI, directing analytical work and reporting, and ensuring strict SOP/regulatory compliance across projects.

You will develop and validate analytical methods, document findings, and mentor junior staff while engaging with clients and cross-functional teams. A strong background in analytical chemistry and lab leadership is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Immunology or Biochemistry with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Experience designing and conducting tests for chemistry projects; QA/QC knowledge.

Responsibilities

Serve as Study Director / PI for research studies.
Take overall responsibility for technical conduct, analytical direction, review, documentation and reporting of results.
Ensure activities comply with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Develop and validate analytical methods for various analytes in different matrices.
Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
Set up, maintain and operate equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
Inform management of problems/deviations affecting data integrity and propose corrective actions.
Lead a small team of technical staff with minimal supervision; host/client meetings as needed.
Train less experienced staff and participate in process improvements.
Prepare and review methods, SOPs and sections of reports and protocols.
