Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Scientist (LCMS) in Singapore to conduct quantitative chemical analyses and maintain research records. You will lead the execution of LC-MS methods, develop and validate assays, and contribute to data interpretation while ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role involves mentoring junior staff, collaborating in cross-functional teams, and supporting client interactions. A strong background in LC-MS techniques and analytical chemistry is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical analysis, chemistry, analytical chemistry or any other relevant specialization.
• 3 or more years of experience in quantitative chemical analysis.
• 3 years or more experience with quantitative analysis of clinical samples using LC-MS.
• 3 years or more hands-on experience with sample extraction using PPT, LLE, SPE.
• 3 years or more experience in analytical equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, conducts and evaluates analytical results and testing.
• Maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
• Independently sets-up, maintains, operates and performs routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment.
• Performs quality control review of data.
• Informs Study Director and management of problems; participates in corrective action.
• Promotes a cohesive team environment.
• Assists in setting up and performing method development and validation of various analytes.
• Performs complex analyses using unfamiliar or new methods, with guidance as needed.
• Provides input and participates in project meetings and guides project work.
• Leads a small group of technical staff with supervisory assistance.
• Trains, mentors, and assists less experienced staff.
• Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
• Participates in equipment assessment and qualification.
• Participates in client visits and communicates technical information.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates data for incorporation into written reports.
• Plans and utilizes personnel and resources for timely completion.
