Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in Singapore is seeking a Senior Structural Coordinator to lead civil/structural design, analysis, and on-site coordination for complex projects, including hospital developments. The role requires reviewing drawings, submitting to authorities, and ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with 5+ years in senior coordination, familiarity with structural specifications, and experience

Qualifications

• Experience in civil/structural engineering design and analysis.
• Senior coordination experience of at least 5 years.
• Familiarity with hospital projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works.
• Prepare design calculations and drawings for Authority submissions.
• Coordinate with consultant, sub-con and other trades (M&E and architecture) for project specifications and technical issues.
• Oversee structural/civil works on site and ensure works follow drawings.
• Attend technical meetings and site walks during construction phase.
• Keep track of test reports, ST, Green Mark schemes and constructability considerations.
• Document control and compilation according to ISO standards.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works


• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions


• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities


• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues


• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings


• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project


• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme


• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building


• Min 5 years Senior Structural Coordinator experience


• Preferably hospital project experience


• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
