Job summary

THYE SHAN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced draftsman to prepare detailed construction drawings and shop drawings, including RC shop drawings and reinforcement layouts, based on approved designs.

You will develop and update 2D AutoCAD drawings to support planning, site execution, and documentation, coordinating with engineers and project teams to ensure compliance with design requirements and regulatory standards in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of drafting experience in the Construction/Engineering sector.
• Familiar with local construction codes, standards, and drafting practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; good knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple drawing tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings including shop drawings, RC shop drawings, reinforcement layouts, excavation plans, and structural steel detailing based on approved designs and instructions.
• Develop and update 2D AutoCAD drawings to support project planning, site execution, and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawings are aligned with design requirements and project specifications.
• Maintain drawing records, manage revisions, and prepare submission packages for internal review and external authorities.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Singapore regulatory requirements and standards.
