Job summary

Recruit Expert is seeking a skilled Drafsperson in Singapore to produce detailed construction drawings and 2D AutoCAD updates for project planning and documentation.

You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure compliance with design requirements, maintain records, and manage revisions for internal and external submissions. The role requires meticulous attention to regulatory standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of drafting experience in the Construction/Engineering sector.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; good knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Familiar with local construction codes, standards, and drafting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple drawing tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Good communication skills and able to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings including shop drawings, RC shop drawings, reinforcement layouts, excavation plans, and structural steel detailing based on approved designs and instructions.
• Develop and update 2D AutoCAD drawings to support project planning, site execution, and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawings are aligned with design requirements and project specifications.
• Maintain drawing records, manage revisions, and prepare submission packages for internal review and external authorities.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Singapore regulatory requirements and standards.
