Job summary

IDEALS RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Drafting Specialist to produce precise architectural, structural and civil drawings from approved designs in Singapore.

You will develop floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings for multiple projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit is essential, along with strong drafting standards, dimensional control, and the ability to coordinate with engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings based on approved designs and specifications
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings
• Convert sketches, concepts, and design information into accurate technical drawings
• Prepare architectural, structural, and civil drawings as required for projects
• Use AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit to create, modify, and maintain digital drawings
• Apply appropriate dimensions, scales, symbols, line weights, and drafting standards
• Interpret drawings, sketches, specifications, and technical information
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, civil, and other project requirements
• Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and potential errors
• Revise drawings based on instructions and feedback from architects, engineers, clients, and project teams
• Update drawings to reflect design changes, engineering revisions, and construction requirements
• Prepare drawing sets and technical documentation for project and permit submissions
• Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and project documentation
• Ensure drawings follow applicable building codes, safety requirements, and industry drafting standards
• Perform quality checks before drawings are issued for construction, approval, or further review
