Job summary

VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced IT storage specialist to collect storage logs, analyze performance and capacity, and report findings to customers.

The role requires hands-on provisioning configuration, testing changes, and participating in change management. You will generate regular operational reports, assist with capacity planning, and help address vulnerabilities across Huawei storage hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT storage environments.
• Hands-on storage configuration and data migration experience.
• Familiar with disaster recovery and backup solutions for storage.
• OS administration basics: Windows/Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Collect storage log information, analyze and report.
• Review provisioning configurations and suggest optimizations.
• Test and verify configuration changes, patches or releases.
• Participate in Change Management planning and approvals.
• Generate regular operational reports using Huawei or customer tools.
• Assist in capacity measurement and forecasting for storage.
• Address vulnerabilities in Huawei storage hardware and software.
• Plan technically for future storage initiatives.
• Deliver recommendations to customers for operational, technical, or support improvements.
• Train customer staff on Huawei storage capabilities.
