Job summary

Hitachi Vantara in Singapore seeks a CTO (Configure-To-Order) Engineer to assemble and configure storage systems and servers per customer requirements. You will test, validate, and document configurations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting SAN/NAS environments, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Linux/Windows and virtualization is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise storage, server configuration or data center ops.
• Experience with Hitachi Vantara storage systems or similar platforms.
• Strong SAN/NAS knowledge and network switch experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure Hitachi Vantara storage systems and servers.
• Perform system-level testing and validation for quality and specs.
• Provide functional and technical troubleshooting for hardware/software issues.
• Administer and support SAN/NAS environments.
• Configure and support Cisco and Extreme Networks switches.
• Support license key generation, activation, validation and deployment.
• Handle RMA processes and maintain lab inventory records.
• Support system upgrades, firmware updates and hardware replacements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and Customer Support.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, quality standards, and safety.
