Job summary

Micron Memory Malaysia Sdn Bhd is looking for a highly motivated Principal/Staff Engineer to join their Technology Development team in Singapore. This role involves developing advanced thin film deposition processes and mentoring junior engineers, focusing on next-generation memory technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ALD, LPCVD, PECVD, and PVD, alongside strong analytical skills. A Ph.D or Master's degree in a relevant field and significant hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D with minimum 5 years or Master's with minimum 8 years in thin film deposition.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, and reaction engineering.
• Ability to develop predictive models for process behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize advanced thin film deposition processes.
• Collaborate with integration and engineering teams to solve challenges.
• Define technology roadmaps and lead strategic research initiatives.

Skills

Expertise in ALD, LPCVD, PECVD, and PVD

Strong understanding of film growth mechanisms

Proficiency in DOE, SPC, and advanced statistical analysis

Hands-on experience with TEM, SEM, XPS, SIMS, XRD, AFM

Education

Ph.D / Master’s in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics

Tools

TCAD or process simulation tools
