Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal/Staff Engineer to lead development of ALD, LPCVD, PECVD, and PVD deposition processes for next‑generation memory devices in Singapore.

You will design DOE studies, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with integration, metrology, and equipment teams to drive innovative, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions. Qualified candidates have a PhD or MS with several years in thin film deposition, strong data analytics skills, and hands-on metrology

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with relevant hands-on deposition experience.
• Experience in ALD, LPCVD, PECVD, and PVD for advanced nodes.
• Strong knowledge of film growth mechanisms and surface chemistry.
• Experience with DOE, SPC and statistical analysis.
• Experience with AI/ML for process optimization is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize advanced thin film deposition processes for next‑gen memory devices.
• Design and run complex DOE experiments to improve process capability and uniformity.
• Perform root-cause analysis using modeling and characterization techniques.
• Collaborate with integration, metrology, and equipment engineering teams.
• Lead R&D projects and mentor junior engineers; define tech roadmaps.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency and quality.
