Job summary

NTT Data Singapore is seeking a seasoned SRE/DevOps engineer to support Java (J2EE/Spring Boot) based multi-tier applications. You will collaborate with internal SRE and development teams on deployments, implement automated CI/CD, apply security patches, and manage incidents with root cause analysis.

The role emphasizes production stability, observability, on-call readiness, and close collaboration with local and remote teams to ensure high availability and efficient release cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve issues independently.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot in multi-tier apps.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Provide Application Support and Deployment of Releases.
• Apply security patches and system upgrades regularly.
• Collaborate with SRE, Dev teams, and business users on investigations, testing and deployments.
• Develop and implement automated CI/CD capabilities for our applications.
• Ensure production changes follow lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines.
• Support production environment with performance tuning and end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Manage incidents and drive root cause analysis for recovery.
• Participate in on-call rosters to support applications.
