Job summary

SGX Group is building the future of exchange infrastructure in-house from architecture to critical systems. The AVP, Site Reliability Engineering leads reliability, availability and scalability across key platforms, driving observability, automation and proactive risk reduction.

You will collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and product teams to embed resilience and efficiency, leveraging AI tools to optimise operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, cloud operations or platform engineering.
• Track record of improving reliability through observability-driven operations and risk identification.
• Hands-on with monitoring, dashboards, alerts and incident reviews using modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Operate services against defined reliability objectives.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging and telemetry solutions.
• Independently manage incident resolution and recovery activities.
• Operate systems against agreed SLOs/SLIs and service targets.
• Develop automation to reduce toil and leverage agentic AI where appropriate.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimisation.
• Forecast and manage capacity for supported services.
• Manage cloud operations and platform reliability.
