Job summary

Singapore Exchange Limited is seeking an AVP, Site Reliability Engineering to lead reliability across critical platforms. You will drive observability, automation, incident readiness, and recovery engineering, coordinating across engineering, infrastructure, and product teams.

You will shape capacity planning, SLO management, and adoption of AI tools to enhance operational efficiency. This senior role offers leadership opportunities within SGX Group's evolving reliability discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or cloud operations.
• Proven ability to define SLOs/SLIs and build dashboards/alerts.
• Strong collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, security and product teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and embed reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate services against defined reliability objectives.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging and telemetry solutions.
• Independently manage incident resolution and recovery activities.
• Operate systems against agreed SLOs and service targets.
• Develop automation to reduce operational toil using modern tech.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimisation.
• Forecast and manage capacity for supported services.
• Independently manage cloud operational services.
• Ensure operational controls and compliance requirements are met.
• Coach other engineers in reliability practices.
• Use agentic AI to accelerate workflows while validating remediation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed reliability by design.
