Job summary

Emerson Singapore seeks a technical specialist to review customer and project specifications for special processes, advise on alternatives, and ensure compliance with codes. You will consolidate requirements after PO, draft long text for factory orders, and support technical meetings with customers, factories, and vendors to align on project needs.

Key tasks include writing addendums for testing, heat treatment, welding, painting, and NDE, and ensuring documentation meets project approvals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with coating, welding, NDE, casting, and heat treatment.
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC sections II/V/VIII/IX and NORSOK M501.
• Ability to communicate across cultures and teams.
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Review customer /project specifications on special processes and identify requirements.
• Consolidate requirements after PO; reconcile gaps between quotes, orders, and kickoff decisions.
• Draft long text for factory sales orders to reflect customer/project needs.
• Support technical meetings with customers, factories and vendors to align on requirements.
