Senior Solutions Engineer – AirTrunk

Responsibilities

• Support the team by understanding and learning customer requirements.
• Drive delivery of customer solutions and products through the complete data centre cycle.
• Translate customer requirements into key design projects for our data centres across the APAC region and prepare presentations for customers and executives.
• Manage RFP proposals and deliver key technical and engineering documents.
• Review and analyse RFPs to understand customer requirements.
• Lead the production of key technical and sales collateral – high level M&E schematics and technical presentation materials.
• Develop high‑level space planning and engineering solutions for customers.
• Pioneer engineering solutions relating to design, calculations, and other engineering aspects.
• Develop Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models.
• Prepare pitch decks, presentation packs, and collateral for customers and executives.
• Coordinate internal teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
• Manage workshops, technical sessions, and meetings with customers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer needs and align with company goals.
• Support customers on their fitting‑out requirements and prepare demarcation schedules.
• Manage direct communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate technical aspects, technical deviations, and alternative solutions with customers; review technical exhibits of customer leases.
• Lead technical tours and presentations for new and existing customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in building design, engineering, and relevant fields; customer engagement experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and good knowledge of BlueBeam and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of CFD.
• Analytical mindset.
• Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills at all levels.
• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and good leadership acumen to lead multi‑disciplinary teams across multiple geographies.
