Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions, driving platform adoption, and advising customer technical leads and architects. You will combine deep technical skills with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of customers’ data and AI strategies.

Qualifications

5+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre‑sales, or senior hands‑on role.
Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging demonstrated.
Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: scalable pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns, cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end technical strategy for accounts, from discovery to production deployment and growth.
Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors.
Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios by demonstrating differentiation through custom-built solutions.
Develop and declare an emerging technical specialization (archetype) for the team.
Coordinate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SSAs, Partners) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
