Job summary

Workiva Inc. seeks a Senior Solution Consultant to support the ASEAN market, partnering with sales to address financial, sustainability, and GRC challenges. You will deliver technical demos, create business cases, and communicate value to customers while staying aligned with regulatory standards.

You will mentor cross-functional teams and help drive long-term customer success across product, marketing, and client services within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a pre-sales solution consultant or in a field-based customer-facing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven communication and storytelling skills with experience delivering presentations to large audiences.
• Experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and influencing key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to engage enterprise prospects across financial, sustainability, and GRC processes.
• Lead discovery conversations to uncover pain points using a consultative approach.
• Demonstrate domain expertise in financial reporting, sustainability reporting, and GRC.
• Assist sales teams in developing strategic account plans aligned with Workiva objectives.
• Develop business cases articulating the Workiva value proposition.
• Build proof-of-concept demos and process assessments to validate requirements.
• Stay current on IFRS, GAAP, ISSB and evolving reporting trends.
• Provide feedback to product management on emerging customer requirements.
• Collaborate with client services to ensure onboarding and ongoing success.

Job description

As a Senior Solution Consultant across the ASEAN market, you will partner with business verticals to solve complex customer problems. You will provide subject matter expertise to sales teams, supporting technical and functional aspects of Workiva’s platform. You will deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and value-driven messaging to drive business growth.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with sales teams to engage enterprise prospects, identifying challenges across financial, sustainability, and GRC processes
• Lead discovery conversations to uncover pain points using a consultative problem-solving approach
• Demonstrate deep domain expertise in financial reporting, sustainability reporting, and GRC across targeted customer use cases
• Assist sales teams in developing strategic account plans aligned with Workiva objectives
• Develop business cases that clearly articulate the Workiva value proposition
• Build proof-of-concept demonstrations and process assessments to validate customer requirements
• Stay current on regulatory requirements like IFRS, GAAP, and ISSB alongside evolving reporting trends
• Provide proactive feedback to product management regarding emerging customer requirements
• Partner with client services to ensure smooth customer onboarding and long-term success
• Collaborate across product, marketing, client services, and customer success teams to achieve shared goals
• Mentor peers through cross-domain coaching and skills development

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales solution consultant or in a field-based customer-facing role
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, computer science, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven communication and storytelling skills with experience delivering presentations to large audiences
• Experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and influencing key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of self-motivation, driving results, and continuous learning
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience presenting to executive leadership across finance, IT, risk, and sustainability
• 5+ years of experience in financial technology sales, accounting standards, or sustainability frameworks
• Consulting experience within Big Four or public accounting firms
• Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions and cloud architecture
• Experience working within the Singapore and Indonesian markets would be advantageous

Travel Requirement & Working Conditions

• Ability to travel up to 40% across the ASEAN region
