Job summary

Codex Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Singapore to join an Agile, cross-functional delivery team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain mission-critical digital solutions, taking ownership of technical design, testing strategy, and delivery risk management.

You will analyze existing codes, recommend scalable, secure software solutions, and guide the team on tools, technologies, and design patterns under the guidance of architects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Proficient in one or more language/frameworks such as TypeScript/Angular/React/Next.js; C#; Java
• Familiar with database technologies (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Strong SDLC understanding, OOP, RESTful APIs, microservices, secure coding, DevOps
• Experience leading or guiding a technical team in Agile/Scrum
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and version control (Git)

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional, tested software features per backlog and sprint plan
• Work in Agile cross-functional teams and participate in planning, reviews, and retros
• Collaborate with QA, designers, DevOps, analysts, and stakeholders to meet requirements
• Translate business needs into technical tasks and acceptance criteria
• Develop front-end, backend services, and APIs using approved tech stack
• Lead testing strategies and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices
• Oversee code quality and participate in design discussions and reviews
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical discussions and delivery
