Job summary

Codex Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer to join an Agile, cross-functional product delivery team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain mission-critical digital solutions, delivering scalable features from the backlog and contributing across the software development lifecycle.

This role suits engineers with 1-3 years of experience; fresh graduates with strong fundamentals or internship projects may also be considered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more relevant languages or frameworks (TypeScript, Angular, React, Next.js, C#, Java).
• Familiarity with database technologies (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with SDLC, RESTful API design, microservices, secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional, tested, secure, and scalable software features based on the product backlog and sprint priorities.
• Work in cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with QA, Designers, DevOps, BAs, POs, and stakeholders to meet technical and user requirements.
• Clarify requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and tasks.
• Develop front-end and back-end services, APIs, and modules using the project’s tech stack.
• Support PoC/IOC initiatives for safe experimentation and incremental delivery.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for automated testing and CI pipelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD templates for automated builds, tests, security scans, and deployments.
• Set up and troubleshoot development environments to support productive development and testing.
• Apply DevSecOps, IaC, secure coding, and software maintenance best practices.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and post-deployment issues promptly.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, evaluation, benchmarking, and QA activities.
