Job summary
Confidential is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Software Architect to own the architecture of life-safety and fire detection systems in Singapore. You will design data models, file formats, and security controls, and build production-grade C#/.NET applications with a focus on reliability and compliance.
You will collaborate with product and hardware teams, drive code quality, testing, and verification activities, and support third-party evaluations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong C# / .NET and desktop application experience, ideally WPF.
- Experience with certified, regulated or safety-related products.
- Strong software architecture, security, Git and testing practices.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with embedded hardware, industrial protocols, IEC 61508 / IEC 62306 / UL 1998, databases or desktop deployment is advantageous.
- English and Simplified Chinese proficiency required to work with partners in China.
