Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Application/Proposal Engineer and Sales Support specialist. You will interpret customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and support the sales team, with opportunities to travel across Asia.

You will liaise with factories and internal teams to obtain drawings and clarifications, deliver technical presentations, review specs, and assist with seminars and training sessions. Engineering degree and AutoCAD proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant instrumentation, engineering or related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel regionally on short notice.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements and prepare technical proposals in support of sales activities.
• Provide technical assistance to the sales team throughout proposals and project stages.
• Liaise with factories and internal teams to obtain drawings and design clarifications.
• Participate in technical meetings and deliver product or technical presentations to customers.
• Review project, order and contract specifications to ensure technical requirements are understood.
• Monitor project schedules, technical deliverables and documentation for timely execution.
• Provide technical support to customers, including enquiries and troubleshooting.
• Support customer site visits for equipment troubleshooting or technical assistance when required.
• Assist with project documentation including test reports and installation drawings.
• Conduct product seminars, webinars and training sessions for customers.
• Travel regionally across Asia for meetings, technical support and business activities.

Job Description

This role combines application/proposal engineering and sales support, with opportunities for regional travel across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements and technical specifications, and prepare technical proposals in support of sales activities.

• Participate in technical meetings and deliver product or technical presentations to customers.

• Monitor project schedules, technical deliverables and documentation to support timely project execution.
• Provide technical support to customers, including responding to product-related enquiries and troubleshooting issues.
• Support customer site visits for equipment troubleshooting, inspection or technical assistance when required.
• Assist with project documentation, including test reports, inspection records and installation drawings.
• Conduct product seminars, webinars and training sessions for customers where required.
• Support sales development activities and take on other sales-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Travel regionally across Asia as required for customer meetings, technical support and business activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in instrumentation, engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Comfortable with regional travel and able to travel at short notice when required.
• Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to conduct seminars, webinars and product training.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.
• Willingness to support sales-related activities and ad-hoc assignments when required.
