The role emphasizes building RESTful APIs, microservices, and applying AI-assisted development tools, with a focus on code quality, testing, and operational stability in a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Formal training and certification on software engineering with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience in large corporate environments with modern languages and database querying.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with validation for correctness, performance and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Hands-on coding in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong RESTful API design knowledge.
• Proficiency with JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, resiliency, and security in Agile settings.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Utilizes enterprise AI coding tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review.
• Applies SDLC tooling and automation to improve value realization.
• Produces architecture/design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets to visualize and improve software performance.
• Proactively identifies hidden data patterns to improve code hygiene and architecture.
• Builds RESTful APIs and works on microservices architecture.
• Writes and maintains TDD/BDD test cases and ensures coverage.
