Job summary

GovTech seeks a Senior Software Engineer to work directly with agencies, enabling robust systems for Regulatory Licensing. As a forward-deployed engineer, you will partner with agencies to solve complex challenges and drive improvements in Core Engineering Products.

You will collaborate with NEA and other stakeholders to provide actionable insights, transitioning environments toward scalable, resilient architectures, with hands-on proof-of-concept support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in an individual contributor software engineering role.
• Strong experience with Claude Code and Codex.
• Experience with React, Kotlin, Swift, or React Native.
• Experience with Golang or NodeJS.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven track record of large-scale partner solution implementations.
• Excellent communication bridging technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers to understand objectives for development delivery efficiency and system resiliency.
• Assess NEA's existing technical landscapes to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
• Collaborate with NEA to identify relevant practices (CI/CD, SRE) for Core Engineering Products.
• Develop transition roadmaps from current to desired future state.
• Explain complex concepts to NEA stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
• Support NEA with proof of concept initiatives and early implementation support.
• Collaborate with fellow Software Engineers to share insights and tools.
