Job summary

Open Government Products (OGP), a unit of GovTech, seeks a Senior/Lead Software Engineer on the Secure Government Communications (SGC) team to design and build secure, high‑reliability systems that operate at national scale. You’ll work across the stack—from frontend to backend and cloud infrastructure—shaping architecture, standards, and long‑term technical direction for critical public platforms.

Qualifications

Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems.
Experience with modern web and cloud technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS and API-first system design.
Familiarity with secure software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, IaC, Git-based workflows and cloud deployments.
Experience operating systems in production and debugging real-world reliability issues.

Responsibilities

Drive technical architecture and engineering strategy for critical systems.
Lead complex initiatives spanning multiple services or stakeholders.
Improve platform security, resilience, scalability, and operational excellence.
Mentor and grow other engineers through technical leadership and code reviews.
