Job summary

ASM in Singapore seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will build applications for Windows and real-time operating systems, troubleshoot real-time control systems, and collaborate with global teams to advance automation capabilities.

You will contribute to AI-enabled development, improve software quality, and help scale engineering across product platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Strong software development experience using C# and Windows real-time OS.
Minimum 5 years of software development experience; 10+ years including architecture and system design.
Experience developing machine control software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Hands-on experience with factory automation systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Develop applications for Windows and real-time operating systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within real-time control systems.
Diagnose and resolve software, electrical, and mechanical system issues.
Lead technical escalation efforts with field engineers and global customers.
Collaborate with QA and Support to improve regression test coverage.
Review software requirements, system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
