Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore, a technology consultancy, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a 1-year fixed-term engagement with MOF. You will write maintainable code, drive design reviews, and contribute to CI/CD, observability, and test automation across services.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps, strong Java or Python, ReactJS, RESTful APIs, and data migration expertise, with focus on security, resiliency and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or IT.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps software engineering with SCRUM.
• Experience with GCC/SHIP-HATS and SG Tech Stack is preferred.
• Strong coding skills in Java or Python, ReactJS, RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver moderately complex features across services with focus on modularity, scalability and resiliency.
• Engage in code reviews, reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
• Support CI/CD, observability and automation practices in the team.
• Lead incident triage, post-incident reviews and preventive actions.
• Write clear technical specs and mentor junior engineers.
