Job summary
Ministry of Finance (MOF) is seeking a dynamic Software Engineer to deliver high-quality, scalable code for government procurement platforms. The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to align with roadmaps and nonfunctional requirements such as security and resiliency.
The successful candidate will contribute to application development across cloud deployments, code reviews, and technical decision-making while maintaining a strong engineering culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related
- Minimum 5 years hands-on DevOps software engineering in Agile settings
- Experience with GCC, SHIP-HATS and SG Tech Stack (SGTS)
- Strong knowledge of Java or C# .Net, RESTful APIs, ETL/AWS Glue for data migration
Responsibilities
- Write maintainable, production-grade code and participate in design reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical roadmaps
- Manage deployments to cloud infrastructure and ensure system reliability
- Address technical debt and continuously improve developer experience and performance
- Contribute to architecture discussions and governance for secure, scalable solutions
